HEARING ADVISORY: An Examination into Surging Power Bills in South Jersey

Mays Landing, NJ - Congressman Van Drew will host a field hearing in South Jersey on October 8th, 2024, at 3:30 PM ET, titled "An Examination into Surging Power Bills in South Jersey." Some residents in the area have reported increases of up to 400%. This hearing of Members of Congress will bring together community leaders and energy policy experts to determine the causes of these surging power bills. This hearing will also review local, state, and national energy policy with Members of Congress from across the country participating.

  • Additional witnesses are expected to be added
