Atlantic Cape Community College Capital Asset Fund

Requested Amount: $4,000,000

Intended Recipient: Atlantic Cape Community College

Project Description: This project will provide current students and potential students with state-of-the-art technologies, our instructors with much needed, up-to-date pedagogical equipment in their fields, and the ability to expand capacity in high-demand fields, further supporting the economic development of the region.

Aviation Maintenance Training Academy

Requested Amount: $2,500,000

Intended Recipient: Atlantic County Economic Alliance

Project Description: This project promotes economic development by designing a training academy for in-demand aviation maintenance workers near the Atlantic City Airport in partnership with the private sector and the United States Air Force.

K9 Training Facility

Intended Recipient: Corbin City 

Project Description: To benefit law enforcement by constructing a facility that will allow a rural community to continue an established program that trains K9 units for dozens of police departments across multiple states.

Atlantic City Airport Rail Station and Cargo Spur 

Requested Amount: $4,000,000 

Intended Recipient: South Jersey Transportation Authority 

Project Description: This project promotes economic development and intermodal infrastructure by designing a new rail station and rail cargo spur that will facilitate travel connections to and from the Atlantic City Airport and support private sector commercial air cargo activities.

Project Description: This project promotes economic resilience by addressing current and future upstream flooding from an operationally deficient dam by replacing it with a modern structure.

Project Description: This project promotes resilience by investing in a high-value flood mitigation project in a barrier island community.

Nabb Avenue Extension 

Requested Amount: $445,400

Intended Recipient: Cumberland County 

Project Description: This project is a valuable use of taxpayer money because it promotes economic development, intermodal infrastructure, and safety by designing a new road connection into the Millville Airport and reducing congestion in downtown Millville.

Delaware River DMU - Gandy's Beach and Fortescue 

Requested Amount: $600,000 

Intended Recipient: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District

Project Description: This project promotes resilience and conservation by studying shore protection measures for the vulnerable communities of Gandy's Beach and Fortescue on the Bayshore. Funding will be used to study the construction of terminal groins, breakwaters and corresponding shore protection using dredged material in Gandy's beach and Fortescue.

Project Description: Baseball is an economic and cultural mainstay of the Millville community, which produced multiple professional MLB players. This project will improve safety and conditions at Millville baseball fields.

Intended Recipient: The Borough of Swedesboro 

Project Description: This will improve the quality of drinking water in Swedesboro by assisting their lead pipe abatement program.

Project Description: To address major flooding across four municipalities that are among the lowest-income in New Jersey.

Project Description: This project promotes clean water by replacing deteriorated and leaking asbestos sewer mains with modern PVC materials.

Advancing U.S. National Capabilities in Autonomy and Advanced Air Mobility Technologies
