Dear Friend,

This is Congressman Jeff Van Drew. The Coronavirus crisis is causing fear, anxiety and financial hardship for families across our community, our state and our nation. Congress has passed unprecedented legislation to help Americans during this difficult time. My staff and I are ready to help you in any way that we can. Together we can overcome this crisis and be stronger than ever.

For individuals who have been laid-off, furloughed or qualify for unemployment benefits, Congress passed expanded benefits last week to increase the amount and the length of Unemployment. To learn more about your options please follow this link.

Small businesses are the life-blood of our economy, and they have been especially hard-hit by this pandemic. We have passed several pieces of legislation to include low-interest loans and the "Paycheck Protection Program" in which loans are forgiven if they are used to meet payroll, mortgage or rent, and utilities. To learn more about this program from the Department of the Treasury, please follow this link.

The US Chamber of Commerce also has a great "Coronavirus Small Business Survival Guide" available to give you access to resources at your fingertips. Please follow this link to see the guide.

On our website, we have a Coronavirus resource page with information from the CDC on everything from symptoms, and prevention to mitigation strategies. Please follow this link to learn more.

My office stands ready to assist in any way we are able. You can reach us online at: https://vandrew.house.gov or in the office at (202)225-6572.

Sincerely,
