Congressman Van Drew and Secretary Duffy Celebrate Permanent Future of FAA Technical Center in South Jersey

Egg Harbor, NJ- Today, Congressman Van Drew welcomed U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy to the William J. Hughes Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center to celebrate the reauthorization of the FAA, the permanent codification of the FAA Technical Center in South Jersey, and the Center's expanded role as the nation's hub for Advanced Aerospace.

"The FAA Technical Center has always been a cornerstone of South Jersey and now, it is etched into law as a permanent fixture of our region," said Congressman Van Drew "Secretary Duffy's visit today shows just how important this facility is on the national stage. With its expanded authority and new designation, the Technical Center is poised to lead the country into the next era of aviation. This means more resources, more innovation, and more opportunities for our local community. Whether it is advancing cutting-edge drone technology or developing the next generation of air traffic systems, the work being done here is helping ensure the United States remains a global leader in aviation.
