MAYS LANDING- Today, Congressman Jeff Van Drew was awarded “Legislator of the Year” by the Department of New Jersey Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). The award was presented to Congressman Van Drew at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention in Wildwood.  Congressman Van Drew then met with Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie to discuss veterans care initiatives.

“I am humbled and honored to receive this award,” said Congressman Van Drew. “As long as I am in office I will always ensure our veterans and military have every tool at their disposal that they need. We  must honor and support them in every way that we can.”
