FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 25, 2019 CONTACT – Mackenzie Lucas – 1(202) 225-6572 – Mackenzie.lucas@mail.house.gov I am glad that a deal has been reached to end the shutdown and reopen the government. Now it is our job to work together and find compromise in a bipartisan way so that the American people do not suffer again. I am pleased that my idea to appoint a panel of border security experts to determine how much should be spent and on which improvements was used as part of the solution. But most importantly, I am happy that the American Federal Workers and Coast Guard can receive the back pay they are owed. I will continue to do all I can to work together with my fellow Representatives for the betterment of the American people and the people of South Jersey. ###
