Washington, March 12, 2024 | Ashley Brown ((202) 225-6572)

Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew questioned Special Counsel Robert Hur during a House Judiciary Committee hearing regarding Hur's findings in his classified documents investigation into Joe Biden and his decision to not recommend charges against the President. In the report, Hur found that after Joe Biden's vice presidency, President Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials" as a private citizen. The report also stated that Joe Biden could not remember when he was Vice President, he repeatedly said he did not recall or know certain details and was described by his own Department of Justice as "an elderly man with a poor memory."
