(Buena Vista, NJ) – Congressman Jeff Van Drew released the following statement regarding the passing of Buena Vista’s Mayor Chuck Chiarello:

“I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend of more than 30 years and Mayor of Buena Vista Township, Chuck Chiarello. Mr. Chiarello had long served our community and was deeply respected by his peers and the people of the community. He loved his town and he loved South Jersey. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We are short a great community member.”
