Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew shared the following statement in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned a world where people are judged by the content of their character," said Congressman Van Drew. "That vision lives in the work we do every day to treat one another with respect and move our country forward together. We do not all have to agree on everything to agree on what matters. Dr. King believed this country is strongest when we come together and focus on what unites us. Honoring his legacy means trying to live that way every day."
