Storms and winds battered down areas already struggling with resource allocation during the COVID-19 crisis. A state of emergency must be declared for the areas impacted to have access to funds.

Washington—Today, the Federal Transit Authority (FTA) announced grants from monies allocated to them in the COVID-19 relief package(CARES Act) that was passed and signed into law last Friday(3/27). South Jersey is expected to receive more than $130 million dollars in funds.
