VINELAND, NJ- Today, Congressman Jeff Van Drew and United States Department of Agriculture(USDA) Under Secretary Greg Ibach toured Seashore Fruit and Produce in Vineland, NJ to see the Farmers to Families Food Box Program in action.
MAYS LANDING- Today, Congressman Van Drew voiced his extreme concern with the process of reopening Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) facilities. Lines at almost every location were backed up to enormous levels, with some people waiting in line all day and still not receiving help. In some cases, law enforcement had to step in to assist in the process.
This is no longer about safety. This is Governor Murphy forcing businesses to die; businesses that just spent months investing and preparing to open at a time he gave his word to them on. The restaurants placed food orders, bought PPE, hired staff back, and started advertising.
How is going to a busy big-box store any safer than a prepared restaurant?
WASHINGTON- Today, Congressman Jeff Van Drew issued a statement regarding the destruction of historical and religious statues across America. Congressman Van Drew is also supportive of pending legislative or executive action to protect statues from being vandalized or destroyed on Federal property.

The award was presented to Congressman Van Drew at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention in Wildwood. Congressman Van Drew then met with Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie to discuss veterans care initiatives.

Dear Governor Murphy,
A serious oversight regarding Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) locations in South Jersey has been brought to our attention. While we are thankful these facilities have begun a slow reopening, the lack of geographic focus is putting an extreme burden on large portions of our community.
We have come a long way in terms of equality for every race, sex and creed in this nation. We still have a ways to go to before we are there for everyone, but we must find peaceful and meaningful solutions that offer positive outcomes for all.
Our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line, and some die in service to their community and nation every year. The malicious conduct that we saw from some police officers, one of whom took George Floyd's life, do not represent law enforcement and they need to be punished to the full extent of the law for their actions.
